These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of get-auris.com and the Auris waitlist (together, the "Service"), operated by Auris ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Auris Is

Auris is, at this stage, a pre-launch waitlist for an upcoming AI-powered communication practice and coaching app for iOS. Joining the waitlist is free, requires no payment information, and reserves your place for early access and a founding-member discount when the app launches.

2. Important Disclaimer — Auris Is a Practice Tool, Not Professional Advice

Please read this section carefully. Auris is designed to help you practice and build confidence in communication — it is not, and does not claim to be, a substitute for professional advice of any kind.

  • Auris does not provide professional coaching, therapy, counseling, psychological, medical, legal, financial, or career advice. Nothing in the app or on this site should be treated as such.
  • Auris does not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Service — including, without limitation, job offers, promotions, salary increases, successful negotiations, improved relationships, or any other real-world result.
  • Any scores, feedback, or coaching generated by Auris — including the "Clarity Score" and any AI-generated commentary — are provided for informational and practice purposes only. They reflect an automated assessment of a practice conversation and are not an objective, professional, or clinical evaluation of your abilities.
  • You are solely responsible for your own decisions and actions in real-world situations — including actual interviews, negotiations, and other conversations — whether or not you used Auris to prepare.
  • If you need professional advice — legal, medical, psychological, financial, career, or otherwise — please consult a qualified professional. Auris is not that professional.

3. AI-Generated Content

Auris uses third-party artificial intelligence models to power practice conversations and feedback. AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, or reflect biases present in the underlying models. We do our best to make coaching useful and fair, but we don't warrant that any AI-generated response, score, or piece of feedback is accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular situation.

4. Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service — generally, this means being of legal age in your jurisdiction, or having the consent of a parent or guardian if you're a minor and local law allows it.

5. The Waitlist & Early Access

  • Joining the waitlist is free and does not obligate you to purchase anything.
  • Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to Auris by any specific date.
  • The founding-member discount and any other waitlist perks are offered at our discretion and may be changed, delayed, or discontinued before launch.
  • We may, at our discretion, decline to admit any waitlist entry we reasonably believe is fraudulent, abusive, or created in violation of these Terms.

6. Referrals

We may let waitlist members share a personal referral link. Referral perks, if any, are offered at our sole discretion, may change or end at any time, and are not a guarantee of payment, discount, or any other benefit unless and until we explicitly confirm it to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or someone else's information to the waitlist form
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to submit signups or extract data from the site
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The Auris name, logo, and the content on this site (excluding user-submitted information) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except as necessary to use the Service as intended (for example, sharing your referral link).

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure — including Supabase, Vercel, and (for the app itself) OpenAI — to operate. Their own terms and policies may apply to aspects of the Service they power, and we're not responsible for their acts or omissions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including — to the fullest extent permitted by law — any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auris and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months (which, at the waitlist stage, is zero).

12. Termination

We may remove you from the waitlist, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Auris develops, especially around launch. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be posted prominently on this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
